O evento será realizado presencialmente no Cemaden, em parceria com a UNESP, em São José dos Campos (SP), nos dias 4 e 5 de setembro de 2023. Além das palestras de convidados, haverá sessão de posters, para os trabalhos selecionados pelo Comitê Científico, minicursos e o lançamento do livro "Riscos ao sul: diversidade de riscos de desastres no Brasil". Os participantes do evento também terão a oportunidade de visitar o Campo Observacional das Plataformas de Coletas de Dados do Cemaden.

Goal: To provide graduate students with advanced knowledge on climate change science and related topics. Participants will discuss with renowned scientists important themes of the three IPCC Assessment Report 5 Working Groups, in a multidisciplinary and multicultural context. The program will include theoretical classes, work in groups, a poster session, science-policy discussions, and visits to key institutions in the State of São Paulo conducting climate change research with policy applications. 

Audience: This School is for graduate students and early career scientists. Priority will be given to candidates currently enrolled in graduate programs (Masters/MSc and Doctoral/PhD courses). About 100 students, 50 from Brazil and 50 from other countries, will be selected to participate in the School. A limited number of travel grants is available.

The 2016 Spring School on Transition and Turbulance (EPTT) will take place in the city of São José dos Campos, September 19-23 2016, jointly organized by the Instituto de Aeronáutica e Espaço (IAE), the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), the Instituto de Estudos Avançados (IEAv) and the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). The 10th EPTT will follow the same format of previous editions with (i) invited talks by international scientists about recent research topics, (ii) short-courses given by Brazilian researchers, (iii) technical sections with the presentation of Brazilian and international research work. Additionally, in this edition visits to different research laboratories around the São José dos Campos area will be organized.

The WCRP-Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean, developing, linking, and applying climate knowledge will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, March 17-21, 2014.
